About Cleveland White 250

In 2026, the United States will commemorate the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence — marking 250 years of our nation’s history.

Communities across the country are recognizing this historic milestone, and Cleveland and White County are proud to be part of that celebration.

Through Cleveland White 250, we will highlight our local history and heritage, share stories from families and longtime residents, reflect on the role of faith and service in shaping our community, and host special events throughout the year — including our Independence Day celebration.

This initiative is about honoring our shared past, celebrating the present, and looking ahead with gratitude and purpose.
